@TrickyDicky71 We have been involved in discussions. It is a very tense location issue with many parties having a preferred option.

Hello,
Before I pay to join, is there an opportunity that I could attend a group ride please?
Kind regards
Steve
Dear Lachlan, my 9 yr old son is keen to join a mountain bike club to learn more skills and to regularly ride/ race with like minded boys. It would be great if you would be open to filling me in what the club offers over a few minutes on the ph. Thanks so much regards Wayne ph 0425 161 646.
Hi there,
I’m thinking of trying out crit racing and have been quite keen on your Friday night hart events coming up. I work in Terrey hills so it would be convenient for me.
I race xc mtb and have done a couple of road races. I’m just wondering what the expected pace would be in d grade/ is this the best way to get into crust? I just did the Bowral 85km and was 30th overall/10th in age group (I’m 32y/o) and have been top 10-30 in my mtb races. But everything is always in that 50-80km range.
Im also not a club member but would be keen to join and get involved. I guess I’m just reaching out and looking for some further info on next steps. As I’m looking to level up my cycling and find events/rides good motivators .
Thanks heaps
Josh
Hi Josh
It’s hard to say what the exact speed is, but D-grade at HART is probably suitable for someone who can ride 28 kmph on a 40 km city ride.
It can be different each week, depending on how the group is feeling.
It’s a very friendly and welcoming session, so I’d say the best thing would be to just drop in and see how it goes. … assuming we can have some Friday afternoons when it doesn’t rain!
Iain
Sorry for the delay in replying Steve. Yes, we’ve got group trainging rides on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, plus a social ride on Wednesday mornings, plus rides on Saturday mornings. It depends on what speed bunch you’re looking for.
I’m updating the webpage now, so you should be able to find the details there.
