Looking for hard and fast racing on a car free circuit? Come and tear some legs off this Friday night at the MWCC crit race. This course will ensure that you enjoy that cold drink when you get home. This is a lung buster.

This course is all that you would expect from a MWCC race – super smooth surface, cash prizes, a testing course and good race numbers in all grades.

Do you find that the road course of West Head doesn’t suit your style of riding? Then maybe the HART course will suit you better – a fast downhill sprint as opposed to the 4% gradient at West Head. You can wind up the speed as you come into the back straight.

So sprinters have a great opportunity to get a victory and the course also rewards the rouleurs in the bunch, with the little pinch every lap giving riders plenty of opportunity to attack the bunch.

This race also suits those who are new to riding, because it is a short race that never has you far from the finish line, so a great chance to experience racing in a friendly environment.

Make sure you have your 2014 Gold Licence or a copy of your receipt because no gold licence means no racing.

There will be no racing on the 24 January due to the TDU.

Riders can sign on from 5:45pm for a 6:15 start. Entry is $15 and riders must have a GOLD 2014 licence in order to race. There are no day licences available. If you wish to upgrade your membership, head over to the Cycling Australia website to upgrade your licence.

Race location is HART Driver Training Centre, Mona Vale Road, St Ives

Grades A-C with all clubs and riders welcome.
