June 11 – The Race of Truth

Come along and test yourself on the West Head Course and race the clock, you know the course, there is nowhere to hide when you are alone on the open road. It is just you and your bike doing battle against the clock. Every second counts….

The TT can be raced as an individual or if you are looking at a pre State Champs TTT,  we have also allowed for that category. So we are catering for both the individuals and teams at this event. We also have a number of clubs utilising this as their club championships, just another way we give back to the cycling community.

Bring your disk wheels and TT helmets or give it a crack on your roadie. This event is open to all riders and not just racing riders from all clubs. Riders with both a RACING and a RIDE Licence can participate at this event. There are no additional charges for the RIDE licence riders. RIDE Licences can be purchased for as little as $11.50 for this event.

There isn’t a need to go all the way to Calga and dodge the pot holes and the semi trailers, we have it all right here, including electronic timing. So race your mates and face the challenge of being the hunter or the hunted out on course.

The team time trial can be ridden by up to four riders and unlike the State Champs, we will allow and encourage mixed teams to give it a go, you won’t be accused of bringing the sport into disrepute if you do so. The Team Time Trial will be over 45km which is two laps of the course.

For individuals in the race of truth we will offer the options of two laps or a single lap. You decide what your limit is.
